Product description
Miguel Merino created his own winery in a restored farmhouse where he built a small vinification plant and barrel-ageing cellar. He started to buy grapes grown on small plots near Briones to produce well-made, modern wines and now owns and runs one of the smallest, youngest and most prestigious wineries in Spain.
Aged on its lees for 10 months. Intense aromas of citrus, pear, stone fruits and notes of brioche. Viura grapes from Mingortiz vineyard provides acidity and minerality while white Garnacha from La Loma adds complexity, body and depth to the wine.

Now in its fourth iteration, Miguel Merino Junior's excellent white is based on Garnacha Blanca with 25% Viura. Fermented in 25% new wood, it's a subtle, textured, nuanced white with minerality and energy at its core and flavours of citrus, green olive and a dusting of oak spices. 2022-27
